ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second to provide police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that one Manikandan/4th respondent herein is trying to murder the petitioner with the help of henchmen. Therefore, petitioner gave a representation seeking police protection dated 11.02.2023 to him and and his family members. However, so far, no order is passed, necessitating the filing of this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first, second and third respondent respondent submitted that there are criminal cases pending against the petitioner and the 4th respondent in Crime No.12 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323 & 354 of IPC and Crime No.13 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 355, 506(2) of IPC.. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.13 of 2023 and 4th respondent is the accused in Crime No.12 of 2023.

4. In the nature and circumstances of the allegations made in the 2/4

complaint, this Court directs the respondent(1 to3) to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2023 in the light of threat perception and pass appropriate orders including providing police protection. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
