The prayer in the writ petition is for a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to take immediate steps to permit the petitioner's minor daughter A.Sharon Zelin Rosita to write the X standard (Matriculation) instant re-examination which will be conducted from 30.06.2011 to 09.07.2011.

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is relating to 2011 examination. Since, the examination was already conducted in the year 2011, at this distant of time this writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infrutuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
