The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.02.2024, registered for the offences under Sections 392 altered into 395 of I.P.C on the file of the respondent in Cr.No.45 of 2024 seeks bail .

2. The learned Government Advocate stated that there was a proposal pending to detain the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate about the proposal to detain the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition after a period of three weeks, if necessary.
