The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's Patta Transfer application dated 11.07.2022 duly transferred by the Sub Registrar Office at Tiruvannamalai 1/4
in the respondent's acknowledgment No.TNIGRS/2002/Rural/24902672/ 11072022191120 and consequently direct the respondent to issue a patta in the name of petitioner's Dry land Old Patta No.1294 and Survey No.12/6D2, 12/6F, 12/6G, 12/6H, 12/6I at Periyakkalapadi Village, Tiruvannamalai District.

In respect of property at Survey No.12/6D2, 12/6F, 12/6G, 12/6H, 12/6I situated at Periyakkalapadi Village, Tiruvannamalai District, the petitioner having registered the document concerned also applied to the Registrar Office for patta transfer and the said application having been considered was forwarded by the Sub Registrar Office through online to the Revenue Department i.e. Tahsildar, Tiruvannamalai, the respondent herein on 11.07.2022. Therefore, in order to consider the said application and to do the needful, the petitioner seeking direction by way of mandamus to the respondent has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.S.L.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the said application forwarded by the Sub Registrar concerned to the respondent Tahsildar would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent Tahsildar to consider the said application forwarded by the Sub Registrar concerned dated 11.07.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
