over the investigation of all recruitment malpractices from the year 2012 upto now, relating to Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporations and Directorate of Employment and Training, Tamil Nadu Government to the Central Bureau of Investigation and direct the third respondent to thoroughly investigate the case and take action in accordance with law. (Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Sakthivel, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and Mr.R.Bharanidharan, learned counsel for respondent No.4.
2. The status report has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch. Para 8 of the said status report reads thus: "8. It is submitted that as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Madras, Madurai Bench in W.P.No.1926/2020, dated: 14.12.2021, as per the G.O.Ms.No.317, Home (Police-XV) Department, dated:22.06.2022 and as per the orders of the DGP, CBCID memo in C.No.030/00959/Crime II(1)/2020 the case Diary files and connected documents in CBCID Metro Cr.No.4/2020 (TNPSC Group - IV examination) and two other cases in CBCID OCU-I Cr.No.2/2020 and CBCID ATC Cr.No.2/2020 were transferred to CBI, ACB, Sastri Bhavan Chennai on 14.07.2022." In view of the above, it appears that the purpose of the writ petition is fructified. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
