The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.10.2023 for the offences registered under Sections 4(1)(aaa), r/w 4(1-A)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act r/ Sections 6 and 7 of RS Rules 2000 in Crime No.208 of 2023, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were in possession of 235 liters of illicit arrack. There are 5 previous cases pending against the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate stated that the quantity involved in this case is substantial.

4.Taking into consideration that the quantity involved in this case is very huge, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence this petition is dismissed.
