ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the bail condition imposed on the petitioner that directing the petitioner to furnish a blood surety to any other condition in Crl.O.P.No.2277 of 2025 dated 06.02.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has 1/4

been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 06.02.2025 with a condition "to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each, out of which, one surety must be a blood surety, for a like sum to the satisfaction of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ponneri, Thiruvallur District." He further submitted that the petitioner was abandoned by his family when he was a minor and thereafter, he has lost touch with his family and hence he does not have any blood relative and that he could not able to comply with the said condition. Hence, he prays to modify the bail condition as imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.2277 of 2025 dated 06.02.2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent has no objection to modify the condition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent.

Considering the said submission, this Court is inclined to modify the bail condition as imposed by this Court in para No.8 of the order dated 06.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.2277 of 2025 as follows: "Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like 2/4

sum to the satisfaction of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ponneri, Thiruvallur District, and on further conditions that:" It is made clear the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2277 of 2025 dated 06.02.2025 shall remain intact.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands modified. 17.02.2026 ssi To 1.The Inspector of Police, M-4, Red hills Police Station, Chennai District.
