ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the C.C.No.2522 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that P.Ws.1 to 6 were examined. He would further submit that the case is posted for cross examination of P.Ws.1 to 6 on 27.03.2019

3. It is seen from the records that the case of the year is 2017. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered at this stage.

4. Considering the case of the year is 2017, this Court directs the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, to complete the trial in C.C.No.2522 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise all the grounds before the trial Court during the trial.
