By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner is the owner of the land measuring an extent of 1 acre comprised in Survey No.142/4 of Thummanapalli Vilalge, Housr Taluk, Krishnagiri District by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 28.12.1979, registered as document No.4713 of 1979 in the office of the Sub Registrar, Hosur. representation dated 9.1.2012 to the respondents for transfer of patta in his name, which came to be rejected by the Tahsildar, Hosur vide proceedings dated 23.4.2013. Challenging the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the respondents vide Appeal petition dated 15.09.2014 . Since the appeal has not been disposed of, he came forward to file the present writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S.Pattabiraman, Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.
4. This Court, taken into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into merits of Appeal petition, direct the second respondent to consider the Appeal petition dated 15.09.2014 submitted by the petitioner, after putting notice to the concerned persons and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
