ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the FIR as directed by the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.46215 of 2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner filed a petition under Section Section 175(3) of BNSS, 2023 before the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.no.46215 of 204. The learned Magistrate, by an order dated 28.11.2024, directed the respondent to conduct the preliminary investigation, and if the prima facie case is made out, to proceed in accordance with law.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by the learned Magistrate, now the investigation is under progress.

5. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to register an Fir, if any cognizable offence is made out against the accused, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
