ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in the case registered as Crime No.1203 of 2006, within a stipulated time pending on his file, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen that an FIR for man missing has been registered. 4.Therefore, a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation of such case cannot be issued. Photographs of missing persons will be posted in the Web Site of the Police Department. Unless there emerges a concrete evidence about the whereabouts of the person, either alive or dead, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent Police to complete the investigation.

5.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
