ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the pending investigation in Crime No.10 of 2023, on the file of the Inspector of Police, C-5 Vengal Police Station, Thiruvallur to any other investigation agency.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner lent money to his sister Geetha and her husband Murali to the tune of Rs.50,57,720/-. When he asked for the return of money, they scolded him in abusive words. Therefore, he filed complaint in Cr.No.10 of 2023. The respondent Police has not taken any action. Therefore, this petition is filed for transfer.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that investigation in this case is pending. He further submitted that investigation would be completed soon.

4.In the light of the facts of the case that the case appears to be a money transaction between brother and sister and that investigation in this case is 2/5

pending and also the fact that petitioner is in USA, this Court directs the respondent Police to expedite the investigation and file final report as expeditiously as possible. In this view of the matter, this Court is of the view that there is no need to transfer the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2023, on the file of the Inspector of Police, C-5 Vengal Police Station, Thiruvallur, to other investigation agency.
