ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the second respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Memo.No.2460/Nir2(2)/2014 dated 10.07.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to grant selection grade of pay to the petitioner in the post of Assistant Engineer for having rendered 10 years of continued service in the said post and further direct the respondents to revise the scale of pay and pension, draw and disburse the difference amount within a reasonable time.

2. Heard Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. Page No.2 of 4

3. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, an order has been passed on 22.12.2021 by the second respondent and that has been challenged by the petitioner by way of preferring an another Writ Petition in W.P.No.10383 of 2022.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
