For Petitioner : M/S.S.JOEL Advocate For Respondent : MR.R.SEKAR, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 420 of IPC in Crime No.18 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others had pledged gold plated jewels and availed loan to the tune of Rs.7,00,000/-.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner the loan availed is only Rs.3,95,000/- and not Rs.7,00,000/-. 4.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that only 130 grms of gold had been recovered from the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since huge amount is involved, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner deposits a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh Only) to the credit of Crime No.18 of 2017 within a period of three weeks. 6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail

in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate-V, Coimbatore, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on the petitioner executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned magistrate concerned, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.
