O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking modification of the bail condition imposed on 08.08.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.1612 of 2019 by the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, EO-II, Egmore, Chennai.

2. The petitioner was granted bail on 08.08.2019 by the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, EO-II, Egmore, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.1612 of 2019 and one of the bail condition stipulated was that "the petitioner is directed to appear and sign before the respondent/complainant office morning at 10.30 a.m., on every 1st and 15th day of English calendar month, without fail until further orders." Hence, he seeks to modify the condition imposed by the Court below.

3. The learned Special Public Prosecutor submitted that a show cause notice has been issued against the petitioner and that it is sufficient if the petitioner appears in response to summons and participate in the enquiry.

In view of the submission made by the learned Special Public Prosecutor, this Court modifies the condition imposed by the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, EO-II, Egmore, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.1612 of 2019, dated 08.08.2019 to the effect that "the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on summons and further directed to cooperate with the enquiry."

5. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
