This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to appoint competent authority for attachment of properties.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner gave a representation to the second respondent on 12.11.2018 for appointment of competent authority for attachment of properties. He would further submit that the second respondent has initiated the process for identification of the property.

4. It is seen that the attachment of the property worth about Rs.9,00,000/- apart from that 17 properties were identified, which is under process.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the attachment process within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
