The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to upgrade the petitioner as Special Sub Inspector of Police with effect from 01.03.2011 with consequential benefits as per G.O.Ms.No.13 Home (Pol.V) Department, dated 06.01.2010 and G.O.Ms.No.15 Home Pol.V Department dated 07.01.2010. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, promotion has been granted to the petitioner and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
