This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2025 and consequently direct the respondent to provide adequate police protection to conduct the Jallikattu in the petitioner's village on 05.03.2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Mettu Street, Kalambur Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, states that on receipt of the representation from the petitioner, the respondent conducted an enquiry and the same was rejected on 17.02.2025. Therefore, the direction sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted.
