Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to absorb the petitioner as a regular employee in Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd, with effect from the date of absorption of his junior on 01.10.96 with all monetary and service benefits and pay the pension arrears and monthly pension with effect from the date of his retirement with 18% per annum.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the writ petitioner, to direct the respondents to absorb the petitioner as a regular employee in Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd, with effect from the date of absorption of his junior on 01.10.96 with all monetary and service benefits and pay the pension arrears and monthly pension with effect from the date of his retirement with 18% per annum. certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned order .

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner reported that the petitioner has died, during pending the writ petition, nothing survives for further adjudication.
