[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The application submitted by the writ petitioner for enrolment as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu has not been considered. Thus, the present writ petition came to be instituted. Mr.C.K.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu would submit that a criminal case is pending against the writ petitioner. Pendency of a criminal case is bar for enrolment as per the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue the application subject to the outcome of the criminal case.

2. With the above observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
