2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the available materials on record.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that as early as on 24.11.2016, this Court has directed the trial court to proceed further in accordance with law.

4. In view of the specific direction to proceed further in accordance with law, I am of the view that quashing of the First Information Report does not arise at all.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
