ORDER

Pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 08.08.2024, a report has been received from the learned Judge, Family Court, Erode dated 17.08.204 addressed to The Assistant Registrar (CS-VII), High Court, Madras, seeking a period of 5 months' time for disposing of F.C.O.P.No.257 of 2021.

2. As per the above report, this Court on 20.08.2024 had allowed C.R.P(PD) No.3174 of 2024 and directed the learned Judge, Family Court, Erode to dispose of the above F.C.O.P within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now, the said period has also expired.

3. It is informed that the petitioner has appeared in person before the trial Court and on 17.03.2025, he has also partly cross examined P.W2 and the matter is posted on 20.03.2025 for the continuation of cross examination.

4. Therefore, the time is extended by a further period of two months to the learned Judge to dispose of F.C.O.P.No.257 of 2021 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is ordered as prayed for. 18-03-2025 srn To
