Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned order passed by 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No.14328/2014/X-1 dated 06.06.2015 for granting quarrying permission to 6th respondent and quash the same, consequently forbear the respondents and their subordinates from granting any quarrying permission in Paruvachi Village Bhavani Taluk Erode District.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.R.Elavarasan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5.

2. The petitioner is challenging the order dated 06.06.2015, thereby granting quarrying permission to the sixth respondent

3. The period of license was upto the year 2020, and the said period has already lapsed. If after the end of the license period, the private respondent is continuing with quarrying, then the petitioner may agitate afresh.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.8124 and 8127 of 2019 are closed. (S.V.G., CJ.)
