This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.112 of 2018 pending on the file of respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 07.03.2018, no final report is filed till date.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police may be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.
5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
