Respondents Prayer:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the publication dated 27.03.2018 issued and displayed by the second respondent in the third respondent's office notice board accepting the nomination of the respondents 4 to 13 for the post of Board of Directors election under Rule 52(8)(g) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act and quash the same and forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from declaring the election result in respect of Board of Directors of the third respondent and consequently conducting meeting, election and declaring the result in respect of election of President and Vice-president to the Board of Directors to be constituted in the third respondent society. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1395/2018/T.nj.1 (6). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.Ps. are closed.
