JUDGMENT

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 06.02.2026, the respondent

in this case by way of RTGS transferred the cheque amount of Rs.5 lakhs to the account of the appellant, bearing No.201018262040, Indus Ind Bank, Perundurai Main Road, Erode. The Memo to that effect has been filed before this Court today.

2.The learned counsel for the respondent confirms that the amount has been received. For better appreciation the Memo filed on behalf of the 1st respondent is extracted hereunder;

"It is submitted that in compliance of the submissions made before this Hon'ble Court on 06.02.2026 with a view to settle the issue with the Appellant, the respondent herein had paid the Appellant the agreed sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) through RTGS into the credit of the Appellant's Bank Account No.201018262040 held at Indus Ind Bank, Perundurai Main Road, Erode, Vide UTR CNR-BR 52026021977957863 on 19.02.2026. The respondent herein craves leave of this Hon'ble Court to record the same in the above Criminal Appeal and thus render justice." 3.In light of the above, nothing survives in this appeal for further adjudication, This appeal stands dismissed accordingly. The acquittal of the respondent is confirmed. The bail bonds, if any executed by the petitioner, shall

stand cancelled. The Registry is directed to transmit the original records if any, to the respective Courts forthwith.
