ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to accord permission for conducting the peaceful public meeting on 28.02.2020 at 5 p.m near Thamampatti Bus Stand, Thamampatti, Salem District, in furtherance of the petitioner request dated 18.02.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2020 was already considered and rejected by an order dated 28.02.2020. When the third respondent tried to serve the rejection order, the petitioner refused to receive the same, as such it was affixed on the Door of the petitioner and therefore, this petition may be dismissed as infructuous. 3.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
