O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.12.2019 and to settle all his retirement benefits.

The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Conductor in the transport Corporation. He retired from service on 31.03.2019. According to the petitioner, a very low amount was fixed as his pension and therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 05.12.2019 to the respondent to re-fix the pension and to pay the petitioner arrears and back wages. Since his representation was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.

Heard, Mr. M. Ganesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Sundara Vadhanan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.12.2019 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 05.12.2019 and a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
