Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 19.07.2023, seeking to correct the entries in the Village record and sketch and issue Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the subject property. Since there was no response from the respondents till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the prevailing practice regarding submission of application seeking issuance of Patta as on date is only through online by remitting requisite fees vide e-challan. In the present case on hand, the petitioner has not made the application through online. The learned Pg.Nos.2/5

Additional Government Pleader further submitted that if the petitioner submits an application through online by remitting requisite fees, the same will be considered by the respondents.

4. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit an application through online by remitting requisite fees through e-challan, within a period of one weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as rival claimants/interested parties/objectors/aggrieved parties if any, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the online application.
