Order (Order of the Court was made by R.Suresh Kumar J.) This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders passed by this Court dated 21.12.2023 made in W.P.No.34199 of 2017.
2. During the last hearing, it was represented by the learned Standing Counsel that, as against the order of the Division Bench dated 21.12.2023, already a Special Leave Petition (SLP) has been filed, which is likely to be listed shortly.
3. Today when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents has produced a copy of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in S.L.P.(C)(D) No.50246 of 2025 arising out of the order dated 21.12.2023 made in W.P.No.34199 of 2017, notice has been ordered and it was directed to be tagged along with S.L.P.(C)(D) No.48148 of 2025.
4. In that view of the matter, as the Special Leave Petition filed against the very order dated 21.12.2023 made in W.P.No.34199 of 2017 having been entertained and, notice was issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, we deem it appropriate to close this Contempt Petition with a liberty to the petitioner to revive the same in case if he succeeds before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. __________Page 2 of 4
