This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and her family members.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner had given a complaint against her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Based on the complaint, enquiry has been conducted in C.S.R. No.49 of 2022 and the same is pending on the file of the respondent.

3.Taking into consideration of the fact that there is a dispute between the relatives, after conducting proper enquiry, the respondent shall provide adequate police protection, if necessary.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
