(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.K.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

2. Mr.C.K.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel would upon instructions submit that the period of punishment is over and the period of one year during which, the applicant was prohibited from practicing in the Madras High Court is also over. Therefore, the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has passed an order on 25.10.2023 lifting the prohibition permitting the petitioner to practice.
