O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.297 of 2018 for the offences under section 294(b), 341, 506(i) of IPC on the file of the first respondent police namely, the Sub Inspector of Police, Vikramangalam Police Station.

2.It seems that there is a another complaint filed by the petitioner herein in Crime No.298 of 2018 and respondent police registered a case based on the respondent's complaint in Crime No.297 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, & 506(i) of IPC and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992. Admittedly, for the same occurrence, there are two complaints.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in both the Crime Nos.297 and 298 of 2018 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
