O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fourth and fifth respondents.

2. Heard Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.12.2024 after affording opportunity to the fourth and fifth respondents and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
