This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to investigate the Crime No.297 of 2011 and to file a final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 1st respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.297 of 2011 on 18.09.2011 under Sections 307, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC against 3 accused.

4.Today Mr.A.Selvam, Sub-Inspector of Police, Jeyankondam Police Station is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that the CD file was misplaced in the police station and therefore, there was no progress in the investigation. But however, the same has been retrieved.

5.Recording the submission, this court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jeyankondam Sub Division, to monitor the investigation in Crime No.297 of 2011 and complete the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
