ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 05.03.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for setting up a mobile bunk shop near the ECR Crocodile bank.

2.Heard Ms.U.Indumathi Uthayakumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.E.Veda Bagathsingh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The specific case of the petitioner is that he is a differently abled person having 90% disability and he is suffering from Cerebral Palsy. To substantiate the same, the petitioner is relying upon the Disability Identity Card issued by the Government of India. The petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent to set up a mobile bunk shop near the ECR Crocodile bank with the

3/6 assistance of the Government. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents based on the written instructions received from the 2nd respondent submitted that since the petitioner is a differently abled person, he has to make an online application before the 2nd respondent and that if the petitioner satisfies the requirements, the application will be considered and permission will be granted.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application to the 2nd respondent which will be dealt with by the 2nd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law and a decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the online application from the petitioner.
