The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue transfer certificate, mark statements and conduct certificate to M.Devanandini and S.M.Prassanna without further delay, to enable them to get admission in another affordable school based on the representation dated 23.01.2024 made by the first petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are the students of the second respondent School and they are studying in Standard IX and VII respectively. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners were informed by the second respondent to not to come to School without paying fees and hence, they are not able to attend the regular classes and hence, their grandmother requested the second respondent to provide transfer certificate to the petitioner so as to enable the petitioners to join some other School, however, there is no response. 2/4
3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that whenever the petitioners approach the second respondent for issuance of transfer certificate, the transfer certificate will be issued to them.
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioners to appear before the second respondent on 28.10.2024 at 10.30 a.m. On such appearance of the petitioners, the second respondent shall issue transfer certificate, good conduct certificate and mark statements to the petitioners, so as to enable them to pursue their studies in some other School. 5.The writ petition is allowed. No costs.
