ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Since notice has been issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, it is the bounden duty of the petitioners to file a reply to the same and in case, three of the five petitioners have pattas as canvassed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, then proof of the same should also be filed. It is only thereafter that the authorities will take a decision whether to issue notice under Section 6 of the said Act or not and in case such a notice is issued, an appeal would lie under Section 10 of the said Act.

2. Apparently the petitioners have not filed reply to notices. We grant one week time to file the reply from today.
