Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary action on petitioner representation dated 08.04.2015 and give suitable directions to the 4th respondent to give police protection as prayed for. For Petitioner : Petitioner-in-Person.
For Respondents : Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, (for R1 to R4) Additional Government Pleader.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that he belongs to Kongu Vellalar Gounder community and five persons belonging to his community filed O.S.No.376 of 2010 on the file of the Court of Additional District Munsif, Namakkal and got an exparte decree on 08.04.2014 declaring Sri Mariamman and Vinayagar Temple situated in Survey No.258,
Thirumalaipatti Village, Namakkal Taluk and District, belong to Nadar, Chozhiya Vellalar and Kongu Vellalar communities and other consequential reliefs. The petitioner submitted an application to the Trustee of the above said temple praying for permission to take procession on the deity viz., Mariamman at 7.00 PM from 18.04.2015 to 30.04.2015 and the Trustee has also granted permission vide his letter dated 07.04.2015, but directed the petitioner to approach the police for protection. The petitioner in this regard has submitted a representation dated 08.04.2015 to the 4th respondent and according to him, though it was acknowledged, he has not been favoured with any response and he has also submitted a representation to the other respondents and since, nothing had happened so far, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.
Heard the submissions of party-in-person and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.
4. Though, the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court in the facts and circumstances of the case, is of the view that it would be suffice to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 08.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner within a stipulated time.

In the result, this Court, without going into the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
