ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent herein to issue a "Non Traceable Certificate" in respect of the original title documents viz., 1) Doc.No.720/1974 of Sub-Registrar, Sowcarpet, 2) Doc.No.2841/2005 of Sub-Registrar, Joint-I, North Chennai, 3)Doc.No.1427/2010 of Sub-Registrar, Sowcarpet and 4) Patta in TR.No.2944/10-11 dated 25.01.2011 issued by Tahsildar, Fort Tondiarpet.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner to obtain legal opinion from the Advocate's office situated at No.8, Esplanade Road, Parrys, Chennai, for the purpose of obtaining bank loan, during his transit had accidentally dropped the cover containing the original settlement deeds i.e., 1) Doc.No.720/1974 of Sub-Registrar, Sowcarpet, 2) Doc.No.2841/2005 of Sub-Registrar, Joint-I, North Chennai, 3)Doc.No.1427/2010 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Sub-Registrar, Sowcarpet and 4) Patta in TR.No.2944/10-11 dated 25.01.2011 issued by Tahsildar, Fort Tondiarpet. Immediately, the petitioner searched for the missing documents and made enquiries regarding the same. Hence, a complaint has been lodged before the respondent police on the next day.
3. Considering the above facts, the respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with the petitioner. If there is any material to show that the petitioner lost the documents mentioned in the complaint, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.01.2020 in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
