ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 03.09.2024 filed by the petitioner seeking for the cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the 3 rd respondent.

2.Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3/4 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 03.09.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the 3 rd respondent and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
