The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 430 and 379 of IPC r/w Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.148 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.02.2022, the petitioner had illegally transported 1 unit of sand in a Bolero vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN-25 BK 9172. Hence, this complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner who is the owner of the Bolero vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN25 BK 9172 in which one unit river sand has been illegally transported, is before this Court and the investigation is pending. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
