The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2018 seeking permission and police protection to conduct demonstration.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the date on which the demonstration proposed to be conducted has been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now.
