ORDER
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents herein to disburse the compensation award amount with accrued interest for acquisitioning the land in Survey No.125/1Aa, Meenambakkam Village, Chengalpattu to an extent of 0.12 cents to the petitioner herein forthwith.
2. Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the
learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's mother had purchased a land to an extent of 0.12 cents, comprised in S.No.125/1A1, situated at Meenambakkam Village by way of Registered Sale Deed, dated 17.08.1962 vide Doc.No.1683 of 1962 on the file of SRO Pallavaram. However, the said land was acquired by the respondents for expansion of Chennai Airport. However, the compensation was not paid. Hence, the petitioner's mother made a representation to the District Collector, Kancheepuram and by order dated 25.05.2002, the said letter was forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chengalpattu. However, till date no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the above relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court may issue direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the recommendation made by the second respondent, dated 25.05.2002, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that appropriate orders will be passed on the recommendation made by the second respondent dated 25.05.2002, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the recommendation dated 25.05.2002 made by the second respondent, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the letter dated 25.05.2002 to the first respondent to enable the first respondent to pass appropriate orders.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
