This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.11.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2.Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.B.Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a Will dated 07.02.2018 which is said to have been executed by one Govindammal in favour of the petitioner. The said Govindammal passed away in the year 2019 and thereafter, the property vested with the petitioner. According to the petitioner, the revenue records stood in the name of Govindammal. Hence, application was made seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and 2/4

considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
