ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Learned Principal Family Court Judge, Coimbatore to dispose of the application in CMP.No.100/2023 in M.C.No.229/2023 within a period as stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed an application in CMP.No.100 of 2023 in M.C.No.229 of 2022 under Section 340 of Cr.P.C before the Learned Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, to prosecute the respondent for the offence of perjury. Since the said application has not been disposed of, the petitioner had filed the present petition.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Principal Family Court, is directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in CMP.No.100/2023 in M.C.No.229/2023, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.
5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
