This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 18.12.2015 and consequently to provide necessary protection to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up on 16.06.2016, this Court passed the following order:

"Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent and he seeks time for getting instructions.

Call on 29.06.2016 for orders at 2.15 p.m.

In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to lodge a complaint before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar, Chennai, who shall enquire into the complaint and send a report to this Court on or before 29.06.2016."

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that the Deputy Commissioner of Police enquired into the matter and has examined some witnesses.

5. This Court perused the enquiry report and found that the Deputy Commissioner has examined one Mohan Kumar Nahar and other witnesses, including the petitioner. In view of the above, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, to proceed with the enquiry and take action in accordance with law.
