The plaintiff has presented this original application to restrain the first respondent from infringing the copyright of the applicant in the musical works and sound recordings described in the schedule to the Judge's Summons. The second respondent has affirmed a counter affidavit on 19.04.2022. In paragraph 6 of the counter affidavit, the second respondent has stated, inter alia, as under:

"...... it is relevant to point out that on receipt of summons in the above suit, my musical company has stopped exploiting the musical works pertaining to the films mentioned in the schedule to the suit and pending the appeal challenging the judgement and decree, so as to respect the Hon'ble Court."

2. Likewise, the first respondent has filed a counter through Raja Ramamoorthy, its Managing Director. In paragraph 8 of the counter, the first respondent has stated that it has removed the musical contents upon receipt of instructions from the second respondent.

3. In view of the above submissions by the first and second respondents, for interlocutory purposes, the grievance of the applicant has been addressed. As such, nothing survives of this application. By recording the aforesaid, O.A.No.116 of 2022 is disposed of.

4. The defendants are directed to file their written statement. List the suit on 20.07.2022.
