Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's land bearing Plot No.12 comprised in Survey No.66/1, measuring to an extent of 2320 Sq. Ft situated at Kumarapuram Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Nagappattinam District (Now Thiruvarur District) Sub Division Patta Transfer based on the petitioner's application dated 24.03.2022 in view of the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2022 within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's land bearing Plot No.12, comprised in Survey No.66/1, measuring to an extent of 2320 Sq.Ft situated at Kumarapuram Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Nagappattinam District (Now Thiruvarur District) and Sub Division Patta Transfer based on the petitioner's application dated 24.03.2022, in view of the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2022, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. In order to sub-divide the land in Survey No.66/1 at Kumarapuram Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Nagappattinam District, the petitioner has given a representation-cum-application through online on 24.03.2022 and in order to consider the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.S.Arivazhagan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that, the said representation-cum-application submitted 2/5

by the petitioner dated 24.03.2022 would be considered and necessary orders to that effect would be passed by the second and third respondents within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the said stand taken by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the second and third respondents to take up the representation-cum-application filed by the petitioner dated 24.03.2022 and pass necessary orders with regard to the plea of the petitioner to get sub-division to the land in question within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
