Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2020, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of Legal Heirship Certificate for his deceased father. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. According to the petitioner, his father by name Manivannan, died on 05.06.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 08.06.2019, seeking for issuance of legal heirship certificate for his deceased father. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide. Thus, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.06.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting due enquiry and hearing all the parties. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
